Christmas and Holiday Appeal 2022-23
You can help us save more lives

During Christmas, school holidays and in the year ahead you can help Australians experiencing emotional distress with access to 24-hour crisis support, financial counselling and suicide prevention services.
According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics, the nation's suicide rate remained the 15th leading cause of death overall in 2021 and was the leading cause of death for 15-44 year olds.
The coming year promises no respite.
Financial distress is predicted to join common risk factors, including psychosocial stressors, mental health conditions, chronic diseases and substance use disorders.
And there are fears the suicide rate could increase as Australians battle interest rate rises, cost of living pressures and surging inflation.
Our goal is to remain available to listen, without judgment, to any person in Australia who is feeling overwhelmed, experiencing crisis or longs to be heard.
With our national reach and local approach, we can continue connecting people and delivering services in response to the immediate needs of the communities in which we operate.
Your contribution will help ensure that people struggling to hold on to hope will always find someone on the end of the line to listen and provide them with the support they need.
Make a difference through the Lifeline Macarthur and Western Sydney Christmas and Holiday Appeal.
