Let's have the conversation!
Men's mental health and how we're really coping
MENtal Health Matters
October 2021
Lifeline Macarthur and Western Sydney would like you to be part of the conversation when we talk about men’s mental health and how we’re really coping.
MENtal Health Matters is an online interactive event talking about mental health – men’s mental health! We're bringing the community together to work towards normalising mental health conversations, raise greater awareness about men's mental health, whilst most importantly keeping the communication open and continuing.
Hear from our inspirational speakers, and participate in a Q&A to find out how they tackle and cope with mental health challenges.

These are important conversations to have. Statistics show that now more than ever men are at risk of suicide, and it’s the leading cause of death for men under 44 years of age. Men are also three times more likely than women to take their own lives. Research also highlights that 1 in 5 men will experience anxiety in their lifetime and 1 in 8 men will struggle with depression. It’s therefore important to open up and talk, work out strategies how to cope and find resources that are relevant. Joins us to do exactly that.
