Penrith Panthers League Club hosted our DV-alert multicultural focused workshop in November, a great workshop, made all the more enjoyable by Panthers' excellent service and good food.
The workshop focused on domestic and family violence in culturally and linguistically diverse contexts. Frontline workers learned how to "Recognise, Respond and Refer" appropriately and with care.
One participant, Chloe, said, “I just wanted to say thank you for the course you ran. I learned a huge amount and I am appreciative of having done another day expanding this topic and meeting new facilitators. Your courses are brilliant, and the care you take to ensure participants can navigate such an important but serious issue is really lovely and exceptionally well done.”
