Lifeline's Castle Towers shop Grand Opening

Updated: Dec 1, 2023

Lifeline Macarthur and Western Sydney will hold the Grand Opening of its new Lifeline Shop in Castle Towers, Castle Hill, on Wednesday 6 December at 11am.

Hills Shire Mayor Dr Peter Gangemi will cut the ribbon to officially open the store.

Lifeline Macarthur and Western Sydney CEO Veronica Macdonald said, “It’s exciting to be part of Castle Towers, a ‘powerhouse lifestyle destination’ in Sydney’s thriving Hills District.

“We hope our store will become an integral part of this major hub for the local community.”

Ms Macdonald said, “At Lifeline, we believe in giving back to the community, and every purchase someone makes from our shop supports the vital work of our 13 11 14 crisis support line and suicide prevention services in Western and South Western Sydney.

“So shoppers will not only be scoring incredible finds, but they'll also be making a positive impact on lives in need.”

The store’s selection is impressive, from fashion to homewares, electrical items, books, music, and more. There’s everything people would need to revamp their style and home.

Ms Macdonald said visitors should take advantage of the opportunity to find unique treasures while supporting a worthy cause.

She urged shoppers at Castle Towers to come, explore and discover something unique.

“Our Castle Towers store is a must-visit for op shop lovers and families to find pre-loved clothing items to refresh wardrobes at bargain prices.

“Each purchase will directly support Lifeline’s crisis support and suicide prevention services in Western and South West Sydney.”

Volunteering

Ms Macdonald said volunteering was another way people could contribute and actively be involved in supporting Lifeline.

“We couldn’t offer the services we do at no cost to those reaching out for our help if it wasn’t for the invaluable support of volunteers both in our shops and on Lifeline’s crisis support line.”

Anyone wanting to be involved can find a wide range of roles contributing to the success of a shop. Volunteers can serve customers, design shop displays, help sort donations, tidy the shop or work in the warehouse at Smeaton Grange – even for just a few hours a week.

“It is a meaningful way to give back to your community and a great way to meet people,” Ms Macdonald said.

The Grand Opening of Lifeline Macarthur and Western Sydney’s Shop (shop 302-06 Level 2, Castle Towers Shopping Centre, 6-14 Castle Street, Castle Hill) will take place on Wednesday 6 December 2023, 11am – 12 noon.

Shoppers can benefit from a Grand Opening Day discount of 10% storewide.
