Mental First Aid for the Suicidal Person

Service Description

This three hour course to provide participants with a greater understanding of mental health. This interactive workshop looks at reducing the stigma associated with mental health issues, what mental health problems and illnesses are, how to help others and look after yourself. Participants will leave with a toolbox of skills and be competent in understanding the various symptoms of common mental illnesses and how to undertake appropriate self-care strategies.
