The Committee meets monthly in Bowral and comprised of volunteers and staff from a range of different backgrounds working together to prevent suicide.

The Program
​
The Southern Highlands Suicide Prevention Program was established in the Wingecarribee Shire with the aim of assisting people in distress to find appropriate help.
​
We aim to increase the community's awareness and skills in responding to the issue of suicide through our main activities:

Distribution of the yellow CRY FOR HELP cards.

Facilitation of Community Education Seminars and Workshops.

Promotion of health and support in the general community and in our schools.
