Beneficiary Statement

Lifeline Macarthur and Western Sydney is one of the beneficiaries of this year’s The Push-Up Challenge. Together, Lifeline and The Push-Up Challenge, aim to raise awareness about mental health and the impact of suicide on Australians.

Funds raised will enable Lifeline to continue providing their critical 24/7 crisis support and suicide prevention services, answer more help-seeker contacts, and ensure any person in Australia who needs support knows where and how to find it."

Impact Statement

Funds raised through The Push-Up Challenge 2026 will go directly toward strengthening Lifeline Macarthur and Western Sydney’s 24/7 crisis support and suicide prevention services. Every dollar helps ensure our local call centre can answer more calls, provide timely support to people in distress, and continue delivering vital community programs that promote mental health, resilience, and connection.

Your efforts will help us:

  • Respond to more help-seekers through our crisis line, ensuring fewer calls go unanswered

  • Support and train our crisis counsellors, who provide compassionate, life‑saving assistance every day

  • Deliver community education and early‑intervention programs that reduce stigma and build mental wellbeing

  • Expand local support pathways, so people experiencing emotional distress, financial pressure, relationship breakdown, or suicidal thoughts can access help when they need it most

By taking part in The Push-Up Challenge, you’re helping us save lives, offer hope, and ensure that every person in our region knows they are not alone.
